Dyson
Dyson is a British company that manufacturers vacuums, fans, and hand dryers. Their hand dryers are known as Airblades. Currently, the V (HU02), 9kJ, AB14 MK2, and Wash+Dry are being made
AB01
The AB01 is a hands in dryer. It is the die-cast aluminium version of the original Airblade, first introduced in 2006. It was offered only in silver, and is somewhat rare

The icons are a good way to tell if an AB01 was made after the AB03 was released.
AB03
The AB03 is the ABS version of the original Airblade, first introduced in 2008. It was offered in both grey (darker than the AB01) and white. White units are rare.
The AB01 and AB03 can be told apart by the location of the sensors
AB06 (Aluminium MK2)
The AB06 is identical to the AB01 but has a blue blade and more powerful motor, this hand dryer is extremely rare, only a few have been found in the U.K. (2 located at the Tocketts Mill Pub in Guisborough, and the remaining in Canary Wharf)

AB07 (ABS MK2)
The AB07 is identical to the AB03 but has a blue blade and more powerful motor. This hand dryer is rare but not as rare as the AB06

AB07
V
The Dyson Airblade V is a high speed hand dryer. It is one of the few hand dryers to have 2 air outlets.
The first generation V is quite loud, whereas the second generation is quite quiet.
It is available in both nickel and white
Variants:
-
AB08
-
AB12
-
HU02-W (white)
-
HU02-N (nickel)
1st and 2nd generations can be told apart by the location of the Dyson logo. Units made from 2017-2020 feature artwork of Dyson products on the top of the dryer. Units made from 2020 onwards feature a symbol saying "HEPA" and have a visible sticker.
dB (AB14 MK1)
The dB (AB14) was the successor to the MK2. It is quieter compared to previous Airblade models, and the yellow trim was replaced with blue. It has its sensors in the same place as the AB03 but has a slightly more curved design in order to reduce noise. White units are rare, and only 500 black units were ever made. This dryer was discontinued in 2021 in order to push sales of the 9kJ.
Variants:
-
AB14-W (White)
-
AB14-G (Grey)
The AB14 had a branding refresh around 2017, with the hand drying diagram moved to the left and artwork of dyson airblade hand dryers added.
Tap/Wash+Dry
The Airblade Wash+Dry (formerly the Airblade Tap) is a combination of a tap and Airblade hand dryer. The dryer motor unit is located below the sink, and forces the air up through the tap when activated by a sensor. These are very rare.
Variants:
-
WD04 (short neck)
-
WD05 (long neck)
-
WD06 (wall mount)
9KJ
The Dyson airblade 9KJ is a high speed hand dryer introduced in 2020. It resembles a wash+dry but larger and more vertical. These hand dryers get their name by how much energy they use when in ECO mode.

dB (AB14 MK2/HI02)
In July 2025, an american distributer of Dyson products announced the dB AB14 has resumed production due to popular demand. There was no word from dyson for several months, however in November 2025, Dyson suddenly announced and released a "new and improved Dyson Airblade dB AB14 with a 25% more efficient motor".

From what I can tell so far, this appears to be a dB with the same underclocked motor as the V HU02 (Ab14 and AB08 have a 1.6kW Motor, HU02 and this new dB have a 1.0kW motor). Whilst no units have been found yet, it is very likely that this new dB hand dryer will have "HEPA" branding like the HU02 currently does.

Dyson's website refers to this hand dryer under the same model number as the previous dB (AB14), however some distributers are calling this model the "AB14 MK2". I personally think HI02 is a suitable name for this dryer.
